Welcome to our Art Workshops at Stone Ridge Farm located in the heart of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We offer a selection of creative art workshops in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel. Study your favorite art medium in picturesque Bucks County, home of the New Hope Impressionists, with accomplished instructors who excel in their field. Our outstanding Inn is a historic converted barn, once the dairy farm of Nobel Prize winning author Pearl S. Buck ("The Good Earth"), whose estate is just down the road.

Week-Long Workshops begin late Sunday afternoon with a "Welcome" dinner to meet the artist. You and your classmates will enjoy breakfasts here at the Inn. Lunch and dinner will be on your own at one of the many wonderful dining places nearby. Our Art Classes meet Monday through Friday, from 9 AM until 4 PM.
3-Day Workshops - Classes will run from 9 AM until 4 PM, ending Sunday afternoon. You'll have breakfast here at the Inn, then be on your own for lunch and dinner at any of the excellent area restaurants. Studio available 24 hours a day, for students who wish to work after class.

Thank you for visiting our Web Site and considering a workshop here at the Stone Ridge Farm. Dear Jackie,

Unfortunately I need to cancel for the John Salminen workshop.I am disappointed as I was really looking forward to it. I hope you get a full house. There are other opportunities for me to take a workshop with him, including one just 2 hours south of here in Florida, but I wanted to do it at Stone Ridge. The Bob Rohm workshop in 2009 was my first workshop ever and it really spoiled me. I've done a few since then where it's 20 people in a hotel conference room from 9 to 4 and then everyone goes their own way. I'd rather just buy the artist's video(s) then do one of those again. At Stone Ridge it was a completely different experience because of the shared lodging and meals, and of course the beautiful surroundings and the convenience of being able to go out to the studio at night. I'm looking forward to getting back there for another workshop soon.
